Vitådalens school is a F-6 school located in Vitå, quite midway between Luleå and Kalix. The school is an independent unit run by Vitådalens skola, an economic association. The school operates based on the guiding principles of safety, joy, and community. We collaborate with actors in Vitådalen and can therefore offer our students locally anchored activities throughout the year.

Students, guardians, and all staff at the school should feel safe in all aspects of the school's operations. We base our work on the school's plan against discrimination and degrading treatment, which is also part of the school's systematic quality work. All students at Vitådalens school should be seen and given the conditions to succeed. Students should be challenged to try new things and explore the world in a joyful way based on their own abilities, interests, and needs. Students should feel that- YES! I can!

The school and after-school care should be a meeting place where the foundation for lifelong learning occurs, where one can laugh and, in interaction with others, dare to express and convey their feelings. Each student should be given the opportunity to develop individually and in groups to take their own initiatives, be curious, and brave.

We learn together, both students and adults. We desire close collaboration between the school, after-school care, guardians, and other actors throughout Vitådalen. All for the students' opportunity for development in all contexts.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities involve daily pedagogical work with children, such as participating in children's indoor and outdoor activities, meals, lessons, recess supervision, and after-school care time.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a primary school teacher, leisure educator, preschool teacher, childcare worker, or have experience in pedagogical work in schools, preschools, or after-school care. If you are studying for any of these professions, you are of course also welcome to apply.
